Blog 1: Top Five Sources of News and Information

There are many different types of sources of news and information that I view/watch regularly. Each one displays different types of news information in different ways and that is why I would recommend these certain sources stated below.

The New York Times newspaper is very popular with a worldwide readership. I like it because it is one of the most widely read newspapers in the country and contains reliable information about what is currently going on in the world. It's intriguing reading about stories that happen in daily life. The Fox News channel is another one of my top favorite news source for information for many different reasons. It is a news channel based in New York City and also contains very reliable and accurate information. It delivers business and political news so that people can understand more clearly about what is going on in those specific categories. I would recommend watching the CNN News Network. It was one of the first television channels that contained 24 hour news information to get people more knowledgeable on what is going on in the world. I like this channel because it is very interesting how it covers dramatic breaking news and it has been named the most trusted name in the news overall. I highly recommend ESPN for all of the sports fans out there. It contains updated sports news coverage and specific highlights for the NFL, NBA, NCAA Basketball, and even college football. I personally love hearing about recent updates with popular sports teams. It even owns a sports radio network and different cable channels for more widely spread out information. YouTube is my last favorite source for information because it shows the world information in a different form rather than news channels or newspapers. People are able to post their own types of videos on YouTube to share their own type of information. Their mission is to give everyone a purpose to share what they want to for anyone to share, like, watch, and comment. Here is a link to check it out!
